Lodging in Pescara
Blocks of rooms for those attending the workshop have been reserved at Hotel Plaza. Since July-August is the peak tourist season, it is recommended that hotel reservations be made early, to ensure the availability of rooms.
Many hotel accommodations are available, in general the cost is inversely proportional to the distance from the shore.
Due to the overlap of the workshop with the peak tourist season, booking is suggested as soon as travel plans are finalized. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at Hotel Plaza. The accommodation is located in the center of Pescara.
All prices are per night per room, and include breakfast and VAT taxes. An additional local tax of 2.00 €/per day/person is applied at the end of the stay.
All reservations must be made by credit card, which will only be charged at the end of the stay.
Cancellations without penalty are accepted up to 48 hours before arrival. In case of no-show, only the first night will be charged.

Hotel Plaza: Hotel Plaza offers a 12% discount compared to the regular fare. To qualify for the discounted room tariff, workshop participants need a password, which can be obtained from the Workshop Chair (Prof. Luigi T. DeLuca).

Shuttle Service Information in Pescara
Workshop in Pescara (28 June - 01 July):
The Hotel Plaza will be the central meeting point throughout the Workshop. A daily shuttle service will operate, picking up participants in the morning from The Hotel Plaza and returning them in the evening from the workshop venue (Aurum).This is a free service restricted to the workshop participants and their companions, but only once a day.
